Saite Robots Serve Jiuquan People Hospital for All Scenarios

Recently, the second batch of Saite Intelligence robots has been put into use in Jiuquan People’s Hospital New Hospital. The two batches have deployed dozens of Saite robots, including smart delivery robots, smart guidance robots and indoor cleaning robots, covering the scenes of PIVAS, inpatient pharmacy, outpatient hall, disinfection supply center, operating rooms and streets in the hospital. The deployment of Saite robots is not only an important step of Jiuquan People’s Hospital on the way to intelligent medical construction, but also a vivid example of technology supporting medical service.

Hospital Introduction

Gansu Jiuquan People’s Hospital was built in 1951, as a comprehensive 3A hospital integrating medicine, First Aid, prevention, health care, rehabilitation, teaching, scientific research, and community services. In 2024, the new location has officially put into use with 240,000 m2 construction area and 1800 new beds. The hospital can serve the Hexi area of Gansu Province and the neighbor provinces like Qinghai and Inner Mongolia.

01 PIVAS and Medicine Delivery Solution

Smart Sala integrated delivery robots are used in PIVAS and inpatient pharmacy for infusion bags and oral medicines delivery.

Ø  Staffs put the materials into the robot cabinets for each department and press delivery button.

Ø  After received tasks, robots depart from PIVAS and pharmacy, autonomously calling elevators and passing medical elevators and corridors to arrive at nurse stations on the designated floors.

02 Instruments and Consumables Delivery Solution

The disinfection supply center uses multiple Smart Sala integrated delivery robots for the clean materials delivery between operating rooms and nursing rooms, as well as the waste instruments recycling in inpatient departments.

Ø  The clean materials delivery: the robots depart from disinfection supply center, through special clean elevators to deliver materials to operating rooms and nursing units.

Ø  The waste instruments recycling: the robots collect the waste and instruments from each department, through the special dirt corridors and elevators to arrive reception hall of disinfection supply center.

Robots solve the problem of wrong delivery, inaccurate delivery, missing and messy setting caused by manual work, as well as to split clean and dirty materials by using separate paths to ensure the safe and clean delivery, which can save the labor work and benefit the sterile materials management, further to support the efficient operation of hospital departments.

03 Operating Room Sterile Materials Delivery

The instruments and sterile consumables delivery inside the operating rooms uses Smart Sala split delivery robots with shelves. The robots depart from the secondary warehouse in operating rooms, through clean corridors to operating rooms to arrive the destination and unload the shelves, then standby for the next task.

The solution can complete the delivery efficiently and accurately, greatly improving the efficiency and timeliness of distribution, so as to meet the needs of temporary delivery tasks before, during and after the operations to reduce the times of doctors entering and exiting operation rooms.

04 Outpatient Hall Guide Robots Solution

The outpatient hall guide robots, combined AI and robot technologies, can interact with patients through voice and image recognition technologies, providing accurate and immediate guiding service according to the needs of the patients, such as voice navigation, information query, queue management, medical advices, data analysis, etc. The robots can take on part of the guidance work, reducing the burden on staff and improving the medical experience of patients.

05 Indoor Cleaning Robots Solution

The indoor cleaning robots are responsible for the cleaning tasks of the main streets in the hospital. The robots have equipped with the advanced navigation systems, to sense the environment and avoid obstacles.
